Nine teams with 38 members from nine localities participated in the contest.

This is a practical activity to welcome the 71st anniversary of August Revolution, National Day, and 60th anniversary of traditional day of Vietnam Youth Federation.

At the contest, the teams showed their understandings about basic knowledge on Marxism - Leninism and Ho Chi Minh thought, Directive 42-CT/TW by the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam on “strengthening the leadership of the Party for revolutionary ideal, moral and cultural lifestyle education for younger generation in the period of 2015 - 2030", Directive 05-CT/TW by the Politburo on strengthening studying and following the thought, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh; building model value of Vietnamese in the new period; basic knowledge on six political theoretical lessons for youth union members.

“This is an opportunity for youth union members and youth to be more aware of their responsibility and obligations in building more transparent and stronger Party and government to promote the strength of the national unity bloc and successfully implement resolutions of the 12th National Party Congress and 18th provincial Party Congress,” said Ms. Bui Thi Hieu, member of the Standing Board and Head of the Department of Popularization and Education of the provincial Youth Union.

In addition, the teams also presented revolutionary songs praising the nation, the Party, Uncle Ho, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Yen Bai province and meaningful and touching stories about the moral example of Uncle Ho.

The organizing board presented the first prize to team from Yen Binh district./.
