Vietnamese young people offer flowers at Ho Chi Minh Monument in Moscow

In a solemn atmosphere, Youth Union members respectfully placed fresh flowers at the foot of Uncle Ho's Monument and spent a minute of silence in memory of President Ho Chi Minh, the nation's leader, who also paid special attention to the young generation of Vietnam.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Viet Linh, Secretary of the Civil Affairs Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Russia, said that during its 91-year history, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has proved to be an effective arm of the Party.

According to him, Following that good tradition, generations of Vietnamese youth in Russia have always tried their best to successfully complete all assigned tasks on the path of integration and development.

Over the past 21 years of operation, the Civil Affairs Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Russia has promoted the role of youth to bring youth activities closer to students studying in Russia, he said.

He emphasized that in the coming time, when the country of Vietnam enters a new stage of development, more than ever, the young generation needs to continue to strive, study and practice, following Ho Chi Minh's thought, following his teachings to be able to become elite people, making practical contributions to the development of the country.

On this occasion, 11 youth organizations in Moscow region were presented certificates of merit for their outstanding achievements in 2021.   

At present, there are more than 3,600 Vietnamese youth union members living, studying and working in Russia./.
