Power sector’s youth honoured for following Uncle Ho’s example

In particular, in 2017, hundreds of programs were carried out to provide economical use of power, environmental protection, alleys with safe and beautiful power systems and power services. Tens of thousands of members participated in repairing power networks for nearly 1,000 families, and disseminated information about economical use of power for over 32,200 pupils.

Additionally, the EVN HCMC’s young people cared for beneficiaries and Vietnamese heroic mothers, and supported people in the northern mountainous region who had been affected by natural disasters. 

In 2018, they will focus on realizing at least 120 works, including upgrading the power networks for 800 beneficiaries’ and poor families, disseminating economical use of power across 100 schools, and carrying out at least 30 research projects on administrative reform.

Addressing the meeting, EVN HCMC Deputy Director Pham Quoc Bao suggested that young people participate in EVN training courses; increase technological application and technical innovation, as well as boost administrative reform, in order to further raise the quality of customer services and social welfare programs./.
