Nearly 4,500 collectives and individuals who are outstanding followers of Uncle Ho’s example were honoured by trade unions in Ho Chi Minh city in 2017.

The honoured followers were reported practising the 6 criteria of honesty, responsibility, activeness, cooperation, sharing and thrift launched by the city Confederation of Labour.
By combining the following of Uncle Ho’s example with the emulation movement of good and creative labour, workers, officers and labourers in the city produced new products and realized technical innovation, in order to increase working efficiency and productivity.
As a result, nearly 1,000 initiatives and technical solutions were applied, helping save hundreds of billions of VND./.
