The delegation was led by Lieutenant General Bui Huy Biet, Member of the Standing Committee of National Defense Academy Party Committee and Deputy Political Commissar of the National Defense Academy.

The delegation offered incense and flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, expressing gratitude for his great contributions and reporting to Uncle Ho the outstanding achievements of cadres, union members and members of mass organizations that have been achieved by the National Defense Academy in recent times.

In more than 47 years of struggle and growth, the National Defense Academy has trained tens of thousands of high-ranking officials, many of whom hold important positions in the Party, State and Army. The Academy has closely followed the practical situation, proactively advised the Party, State, Central Military Commission, and Ministry of National Defense to plan guidelines, mechanisms and policies on defense, security, and military, on building the armed forces, the army; on economic, cultural-social development associated with national defense, security, building and protecting the fatherland in the new situation.

In the sacred atmosphere, before the President’s spirit, officers, union members and members of mass organizations of the National Defense Academy vow to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and style; united with one heart, absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people, ready to fight and sacrifice for national independence and socialism.

In the coming time, the Academy's staff, union members, and members of mass organizations will continue to improve the quality of education and training, scientific research, and build a clean and strong Party Committe, building a strong, comprehensive, regular, advanced, exemplary Academy, establishing many new achievements, strengthening the honorable tradition of the heroic National Defense Academy; ensuring it is worthy of being the leading military science and art training and research center of the Army and the Nation.
