Tat Thanh Cang, Party Central Committee member and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee, on July 20 th chaired a meeting to review the implementation of the Politburo Directive on increasing the studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style (Directive 05).

During the meeting, many focused on analyzing and assessing weaknesses after one year of implementing the directive.
According to Mr. Cang, one of the most important tasks that the city has successfully realized is personnel work, with complex cases of concern in Hoc Mon, Binh Tan and Tan Phu districts having been tackled, punishing tens of cadres.
He urged Party Executive Committees to increase inspection over personnel work, and over the implementation of Directive 05, adding that action plans on the implementation must focus on addressing hot issues that are important to localities’ development and receive great concern among the people./.
