In celebration of the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho visiting Cat Ba Fishing Village on March 31st, 1959, the Government leader has permitted the Hai Phong People’s Committee to organize a low-range fireworks display at the opening of the Cat Ba Festival, reported the Hai Phong information portal.

The move also aims to mark the 60th anniversary of the traditional day of the seafood sector (April 1st).
Major activities of the festival will take place from March 30th to April 1st. Notably, the art program “Green Cat Ba” will be organized on March 31st at the center of Cat Ba town.
In addition, the festival will include open boat racing, open volleyball tournament, an aquatic trade tourism fair, street festival, and Hai Phong tourism photo exhibition.
Besides, it promotes and introduces the image of green Cat Ba to tourists and support popularization and promotion of the town./.
