Exhibition on Ho Chi Minh with NA and People’s Councils elections

 

The exhibition is to popularise the elections of deputies to the 14th NA and the People’s Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 tenure, as well as to celebrate the 126th birth anniversary of the President Ho Chi Minh (May 19th).

It showcases over 200 items, documents and materials which are divided into two parts: President Ho Chi Minh with Democratic Republic of Vietnam’s first NA General Election in 1946, and the elections of deputies to the NA and People’s Councils at all levels (1960 - 2016).

Besides, the exhibition also introduces the activities of preparation for the elections of deputies to the 14th NA and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2016 - 2021 tenure.

Ms. Nguyen Thuy Duc, acting Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, said: “The photos on President Ho Chi Minh and many other officials of the Vietnam revolutionary government taking part in the first General Election were taken from different angles. This exhibit is intended to educate young people on their responsibility and rights in voting.”

As scheduled, the exhibit will run until May 31st./.
