Exhibition held to mark Uncle Ho’s first visit to Da Chong Relic Site

The exhibition consists of 3 parts displaying 150 precious photos and documents, including many pictures being introduced to the public for the first time. Many photos have artistic value, vividly reflecting the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, recreating the activities of President Ho Chi Minh at Da Chong - K9, and illustrating the task of preserving permanently and protecting the absolute safety of President Ho Chi Minh's body in the period 1969 - 1975.

In addition, there are many photos showing the interest of the Party and State leaders and the activities of officers, employees and soldiers of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command in preserving and promoting the value of Ho Chi Minh cultural heritage at Da Chong - K9, and the affection of cadres and people as well as international friends with President Ho Chi Minh.

Major General Dinh Quoc Hung, Political Commissar of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command said that the exhibition is an opportunity to disseminate widely the special political tasks of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command, Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and the political, cultural and historical significance of Da Chong Relic Site - K9, contributing to promoting learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

Through the exhibition, the audience can feel Uncle Ho's simple style, sincere affection, faithful and pure international friendship, love of life in harmony with the love for nature, as well as the Vietnamese people’s love for Uncle Ho and the admiration of international friends for him.

The exhibition will be open until June 30, 2023.

The Da Chong Relic Site in Hanoi’s outlying district of Ba Vi is where the body of President Ho Chi Minh was preserved from 1969-1975./.
