President Ho Chi Minh was a great leader of the Vietnamese people. He always combined closely the revolution of Vietnam with the common people’s struggle across the world for peace, national independence, democracy and social progress. He was a virtuous example of industry, thrift and honesty. He was of righteous character, public-spirited, selfless, of plain character and extremely modest.

Implementing the directive of the Permanent Secretariat of the CPV, the Commission for Popularisation and Education entrusted the CPV Online Newspaper to develop the e-portal on Ho Chi Minh in celebration of the 125th anniversary of his birthday (19/5/1890 - 19/5/2015).

Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Dinh The Huynh praised the CPV Online Newspaper and appropriate authorities on their close collaboration to complete the development of the project on Ho Chi Minh.

The portal spans 12 columns, including News; Life and Political cause, Ideology and Morality; Works by Ho Chi Minh, Works on Ho Chi Minh, Ho Chi Minh around the World, Studying and Following of President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example, Stories, Photographs, music and video on Ho Chi Minh and a 3D museum.

The site is available in both Vietnamese and English. A mobile-friendly version of the webpage was also introduced.

The e-portal is also connected to the websites of a number of organisations and individuals for further information and documentation about the President.

It is a file management system and close to the readers, which is followed to his style and thought. Besides, it enables people from all walks of life to access information about the President’s life and revolutionary cause as well as his ideology and morality, thus promoting the studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example./.
