Contests on telling stories of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style

This was a practical political and cultural event which showed the affection of people in Hung Yen province towards Uncle Ho and his teachings.

During the contest, 35 candidates told stories about President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style, as well as stories about the deep affection of people in Hung Yen province for Uncle Ho.

Stories about outstanding individuals and organizations who do well in studying and following Uncle Ho’s example were also told at the contest. They included teacher Pham Van Hung in Phu Cu High School who is determined to follow Uncle Ho’s example; Bui Dinh Thang in Phu Cu district who has spent 20 years building up a domestic library and offering free reading material for local residents; or the example of a military officer who bravely struggled with gangsters and protected peace for his commune.

The organising committee presented a first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes to the most outstanding candidates./.
