Singaporean Prime Minister pays tribute to President Ho Chi Minh

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong paid an official visit to Vietnam from August 27 - 29 at the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. This is the 5th time he has visited Vietnam as Prime Minister, demonstrating the closeness and connection between Singapore and Vietnam.

The Singaporean Prime Minister's visit took place in a series of events to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations and 10 years of the Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Singapore.

The visit contributes to strengthening bilateral relations, enhancing strategic trust between leaders of the two countries; at the same time, it also helps realize existing agreements and the signing of new agreements, especially in the field of economic cooperation.

During his official visit to Vietnam, Singaporean Prime Minister offered flowers and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum on August 28.
